Gordiets sets the scene along a rocky coastline where the sea disappears into the distance and the trees have grown into perfect geometric forms, as if the landscape itself decided to become a sculpture garden. Cypress towers stand beside spherical topiaries and cone-shaped hedges, each one improbably tidy, each one somehow completely at home here.
Then there is the apple in the foreground, cut open and enormous, larger than any fruit has a right to be and entirely central to the composition. It is not a symbol you are meant to decode. It is just there, the way things are simply there in dreams, commanding your attention with complete confidence and no explanation.
The palette is cool and restrained, grays and olive greens and the pale blue of the water, which gives the whole scene a stillness that keeps pulling you back in. This is not a loud painting. It rewards the kind of attention you give something you live with.

Are your paintings original?
All artwork sold on this site is oil on canvas, hand-painted by skilled
artists. While some pieces may exist in multiple renditions, each one is
painted by hand, ensuring its own subtle variations in brushwork and
texture. We do not sell printed reproductions or mass-produced canvases.
Do the paintings come framed?
Yes. Each painting is delivered in a custom-made wood frame made in
Italy. They are carefully selected to enhance the character and beauty
of the artwork. These are premium-quality frames — ready to hang and
built to last.
Can I customize the frame?
Yes — we offer custom framing options upon request. If you’d like to
select a different frame style or finish, please contact us before
placing your order. Custom framing may require additional time for
sourcing and craftsmanship, so please allow up to 2–3 extra weeks for
processing.
How long does shipping take, and are there any fees?
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days from
our location in Central New Jersey, USA. U.S. delivery usually takes
7–10 business days.
International buyers: Shipping times will vary
depending on your destination, and any customs duties or import fees
will be the responsibility of the customer.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. Since international shipping can vary greatly, we ask that
you reach out to us directly with your location and item(s) of interest
so we can confirm availability, shipping costs, and delivery timeframes.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with full tracking
information so you can follow your artwork’s journey to your home.
What is your return policy?
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of original artwork and the custom
framing process, all sales are final. We do not accept returns.
However,
if your piece arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7
days and we’ll make it right. Your satisfaction is extremely important
to us.
Can I send a painting as a gift?
Absolutely — this is exactly the idea our business was built on. When
purchasing a painting as a gift, you can include a personalized message,
and we’ll ensure it’s beautifully presented.
As a special touch, we
also include a small engraved metal plate mounted on the back of the
frame, featuring your custom message — making it a meaningful keepsake
that lasts a lifetime.

How should I care for my painting?
Keep your painting out of direct sunlight and avoid areas with high
humidity. Dust the frame gently using a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
