Gordiets has painted the female profile a number of times, but this is one of his most fully realized examples. The woman wears a wide-brimmed hat whose band is painted with botanical detail: small flowers, leaves, a meticulous hand, and at her ear hangs a dragonfly as if it landed mid-flight and decided to stay. The plaid coat in burnt orange, amber, and olive grounds the portrait in the real world while the cool blue-gray background lifts it back out. Small canvas, serious presence.

Yes — we offer custom framing options upon request. If you’d like to
select a different frame style or finish, please contact us before
placing your order. Custom framing may require additional time for
sourcing and craftsmanship, so please allow up to 2–3 extra weeks for
processing.
How long does shipping take, and are there any fees?
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days from
our location in Central New Jersey, USA. U.S. delivery usually takes
7–10 business days.
International buyers: Shipping times will vary
depending on your destination, and any customs duties or import fees
will be the responsibility of the customer.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. Since international shipping can vary greatly, we ask that
you reach out to us directly with your location and item(s) of interest
so we can confirm availability, shipping costs, and delivery timeframes.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with full tracking
information so you can follow your artwork’s journey to your home.
What is your return policy?
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of original artwork and the custom
framing process, all sales are final. We do not accept returns.
However,
if your piece arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7
days and we’ll make it right. Your satisfaction is extremely important
to us.
Can I send a painting as a gift?
Absolutely — this is exactly the idea our business was built on. When
purchasing a painting as a gift, you can include a personalized message,
and we’ll ensure it’s beautifully presented.
As a special touch, we
also include a small engraved metal plate mounted on the back of the
